Mint Julip

Ingredients:
50ml Buffalo Trace Bourbon
20ml Gomme syrup
or
1 ½ table spoon castor sugar
12 Mint Leaves
2 dashes Pelegrini Orange Bitters

Glass:
Highball / Collins

Method:
Add sugar, mint and a dash of Buffalo Trace to a glass.
Break up mint with the back of a spoon, pestle or muddler
Add remainder of bourbon and crushed ice to the glass
Vigorously thrash ingredients with a spoon until diluted sufficiently

Add mint sprig for garnish and serve

Old Fashioned

Ingredients:
50ml Buffalo Trace
1 sashet brown sugar / 10ml Castor sugar
3 dashes Angostura Bitters
2 dashes Pelegrini Orange bitters
Orange peel.

Glass:
Tumbler / Rocks

Method:
If using Brown Sugar add 10ml boiling water,
Alternatively just add castor sugar.
Add dash of bourbon, Angostura and Orange bitters
Add 2 blocks of ice and stir until sugar dissolves.
Add 25 ml Buffalo Trace, 4 blocks of ice and stir
Add 4 blocks of ice and stir.
Add remainder of bourbon, more ice and stir.
Stirr until diluted to a finger length from rim.
Take orange peel and squeeze oils over top of drink.
Rub glass rim with outside of peel and drop into the glass.

Serve with a stirrer


Kentucky Rose

Ingredients:
35ml Buffalo Trace
12.5ml Crème de Fraise
12.5ml Mandarine Napolean
12.5ml Gomme
4 Strawberries
4 Basil Leaves
2 Dashes Angostura
Dash Lemonade
Shake hard and strain into a highball glass.
Top with a little lemonade.

Glass:
Rocks / Tumbler

Method:
Add Strawberries
Basil
Gomme and Creme de friase to a mixing glass and Muddle

Buffalo Passion

Ingredients:
50ml Buffalo Trace
20ml Maple Syrup
5ml Cinnamon Syrup
10ml Lemon Juice
2 dashes Angostura
1 Passionfruit

Glass:
Tumbler / Rocks

Method:
Add all ingredients in a shaker glass. Save a slice of PassionFruit for garnish. Shake and strain into glass and garsnish with Passionfruit disc.

Ezard Breeze

Ingredients:
50ml Buffalo Trace
20ml Grenadilla Puree
15ml Lemon Juice
10ml Vanilla Liqueur
1 shake Angostura Bitters

Method:
Shake and fine strain into a martini Glass

Garnish with a Grenadilla disc

White Buffalo

Ingredients:
50ml Buffalo Trace
12.5ml Hazelnut liqueur
12.5ml Amaretto
10ml Gomme syrup
5ml Cinnamon syrup
50ml Half ‘n’ half (milk & cream)


Method:
Stir with ice and serve in a 16oz tall glass with a chocolate rim.

Buffalo Fiesta

Ingredients:
50ml Buffalo Trace
8-10 mint leaves
Tablespoon gomme syrup
Tablespoon Mango puree
5ml Mango liqueur
Top with Ginger Ale

Method:
Stir ingredients and served over crushed ice in 16oz tall glass.

Aloha Kentucky Cocktail

Ingredients:
50ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
90-120ml pineapple juice


Method:
Shake both ingredients together with ice, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve.

Kentucky Flower

Ingredients:
50ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
25ml Elderflower cordial
Dash of lemon juice
75ml apple juice

Method:
Shake and strain into a highball glass filled with crushed ice then garnish with an apple wheel. Garnish with apple wheel.

CranBuffalo

Ingredients:
37.5ml Buffalo Trace
50ml Cranberry Juice
12.5ml Chambord
12.5ml lemon juice
Dash of gomme syrup


Method:
Stir ingredients with ice, strain and garnish with raspberry and mint leaf in Martini glass. Alternatively, pour over crushed ice and serve in 360ml tall glass.

Florida Buffalo

Ingredients:
50ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
25 ml Patron Citrónge/orange liqueur
12.5ml sweet vermouth
12.5ml fresh orange juice

Method:
Shake all ingredients well with ice and pour on the rocks in an old-fashioned glass. Garnish with a slice of orange and a cherry, and serve.

Orange Buffalo

Ingredients:
50ml Buffalo Trace Bourbon
25ml Patron Citrónge Liqueur/triple sec
100ml orange juice


Method:
Shake with ice and serve in martini glass with orange slice garnish.

Buffalicious

Ingredients:
50ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
10 fresh sweet green grapes
15 sweet ginger cordials
Slice of fresh ginger
20/20 peach liqueur & puree

Method:
Muddle fresh ginger and grapes together, add all other ingredients and shake, then fine strain into a cocktail glass.
Garnish with grapes

Hairy Georgia Peach

Ingredients:
50ml Buffalo Trace
20ml Peach puree
10ml Peach liqueur


Method:
Stir ingredients with ice, strain and garnish with peach slice and sprig of mint in Martini glass.

Beach Roaming Buffalo

Ingredients:
25ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
25ml Sour Mix
25ml Orange Juice
1 dash Grenadine
Lemon-lime Soda

Method:
Stir ingredients and pour over ice in glass, except the soda. Then fill glass with lemon-lime soda and stir. Add a dash of grenadine, top with an orange wedge.

Frozen White Buffalo

Ingredients:
1 cup premium vanilla ice cream
1/4 cup Buffalo Trace bourbon
1 teaspoon vanilla
Dash of freshly grated nutmeg


Method:
Combine ice cream, bourbon, and vanilla in blender and process until smooth. Pour into glasses and sprinkle with nutmeg.

Buffalo Julep Cocktail

Ingredients:
75ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
12.5ml Green Crème de Menthe
25ml Lime Juice
1 tsp Castor sugar
5 Chopped Mint Leaves
Club Soda

Method:
Chop mint well. Blend all ingredients. Pour into a glass half filled with ice cubes. Fill with club soda and top with a mint sprig.

Buffalovin’

Ingredients:
25ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
12.5ml Amaretto
5ml Gin
1 splash Patron Citrónge Liqueur/triple sec
1 splash Orange Juice
1 splash Pineapple Juice
1/2 cup ice


Method:
Pour all ingredients over ice into a hurricane glass and stir. Top with an orange slice.

Buffalo Noggin

Ingredients:
6 large egg yolks
3/4 cup sugar
2-1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup Buffalo Trace bourbon
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Method:
Beat egg yolks and sugar in medium saucepan. Slowly beat in 2 cups of the milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until thermometer registers 70°C or mixture coats the back of the metal spoon. Remove from heat. Strain into pitcher. Stir in remaining milk, Buffalo Trace bourbon, vanilla and nutmeg. Cover and chill at least 8 hours or overnight. Sprinkle with additional nutmeg. Makes 6-8 servings.

Mrs. White Buffalo

Ingredients:
37.5ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
20ml Butterscotch schnapps
2 bar spoons of gomme syrup
25ml Milk
Grated cinnamon


Method:
Shake and strain all ingredients. Serve in martini glass and garnish with cinnamon stick.

Trace of Mango Martini

Ingredients:
37.5ml Buffalo Trace
1/2 fresh mango
75ml Apple juice
12.5ml Apple liqueur
1 spoon cinnamon syrup

Method:
Muddle mango, add remaining ingredients. Shake and double strain. Serve in martini glass and garnish with mango slice.

The Buffalo Old fashioned

Ingredients:
37.5ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
2 dashes bitters
Cherry
Orange slice
Lemon wedge
1/2 teaspoon sugar


Method:
In an old-fashioned glass, place sugar and 2 dashes bitters dissolved in water. Fill with ice. Pour Buffalo Trace bourbon; add cherry, orange slice and lemon wedge.

Buffalo Slushy

Ingredients:
37.5ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
12.5ml Patron Citrónge liqueur/triple sec
25ml lime juice
12.5 lemon juice
10ml Gomme syrup

Method:
Combine ingredients in blender with crushed ice. Blend and pour into glass.

Buffalo-Cherry Slush

Ingredients:
1 cup water
1 (340 ml) can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
1 (340 ml) can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
1 cup cherry juice
2 cups Buffalo Trace bourbon
Ice cubes
Lemon and orange slices
Sprigs fresh mint

 

Method:
Stir together the water, orange and lemon juice concentrate, cherry juice and Buffalo Trace bourbon in a large bowl or pitcher. Cover and place in the refrigerator until very cold, at least 2 hours.

Place some of the mixture into a blender with ice and blend until slushy. Pour into large margarita glasses, garnish with lemon or orange slices and sprig of mint. Repeat with remaining mixture.

The Big Buffalo Julep

Ingredients:
One bottle of Buffalo Trace
One bag of mint (@100 mint leaves with stalks)
150ml Gomme syrup

Method:
Break up mint and add to big jar. Add remaining ingredients, give a good stir and then place lid on jar and store for 4 hours. To serve, pack julep cups with crushed ice, pour julep mixture in and churn. Garnish with individual julep cups with sprigs of mint.

Buffalo in Manhattan

Ingredients:
50ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
10ml Sweet Vermouth or Dry Vermouth
Dash of Bitters (optional)

 

Method:
Combine all ingredients in cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with Maraschino Cherry.

Buffalo, Sweat & Tears

Ingredients:
25ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
1 dash Tabasco sauce

Method:
Stir in a shot glass. Drink quickly.

Sour Buffalo

Ingredients:
25ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
50ml Sweet & Sour
Maraschino Cherry


Method:
Combine all ingredients a rocks glass with ice and stir. Garnish with maraschino cherry.

Dusty Buffalo

Ingredients:
50ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
50ml Sherry
Lemon Juice
Sparkling Water or Club Soda

Method:
Combine the bourbon, sherry and lemon juice in a Collins glass filled with ice, stir and fill with sparkling water or club soda.

Snortin’ Buffalo Cider

Ingredients:
50ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
180ml hot apple cider
3 whole cloves
1 stick cinnamon

 

Method:
Combine ingredients into mug and serve immediately.

Trace Tea

Ingredients:
25ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
1 dash lemon juice
160ml sweetened iced tea
50 ml lemon-lime soda

Method:
Pour the Buffalo Trace bourbon into a Collins glass filled with ice cubes. Add lemon juice. Fill 3/4 of the way with sweetened iced tea (prepared). Top with lemon-lime soda. Stir briefly, and serve.

Buffalo Stampede

Ingredients:
25ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
25ml rum
Dash Patron Citrónge/triple sec

 

Method:
Serve straight up or on the rocks.

Buffalo Trace Blender

Ingredients:
50ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
50ml Cranberry Juice
12.5ml Lime Juice
1 tsp Castor Sugar
1 cup Ice

Method:
Add ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.

Roaming Buffalo

Ingredients:
50ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
15.2ml light rum
1 dash Grenadine
10ml Lemon Juice
10ml Orange Juice

 

Method:
Shake everything with ice; strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Buffalo Lemon Lager

Ingredients:
340ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
340ml Lager Beer
340ml Lemon-lime soda
340ml Frozen Limeade Concentrate

Method:
Fill a large pitcher half full with ice. Add can of frozen limeade and using the same can, add one can of lemon-lime soda, Stir, then add one can of Buffalo Trace bourbon and stir again. Finally add one can of your favorite lager beer, and then stir. Pour into mason jars with plenty of ice and enjoy!

Passionate Buffalo

Ingredients:
50ml Buffalo Trace
8 mint leaves
Tablespoon Simple syrup
5ml Passion fruit juice
5ml Passion fruit liqueur

 

Method:
Add all ingredients to shaker, shake and pour into 12oz tall glass with crushed ice. Garnish with fresh mint.

Johnny Buffalo

Ingredients:
50ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
25ml Lemon Juice
75ml Club Soda
1 tsp Castor sugar

Method:
Shake bourbon, lemon juice and sugar in a shaker with ice and add club soda. Strain into a Collins glass over ice. Stir and garnish with the cherry and orange slice.

Buffalo Trace Banana Split

Ingredients:
25ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
25ml double cream
25ml crème de banana
Dash Grand Marnier

 

Method:
Mix all ingredients in a shaker. Serve in a cocktail glass.

Limestone Cowboy

Ingredients:
1 parts Buffalo Trace bourbon
2/3 parts Lime cordial
4 Parts soda

Method:
Mix and pour over cubed ice. Serve in a pitcher. Garnish with lime wedges.

Buffalo Stance

Ingredients:
1 part Buffalo Trace bourbon
1/4 part Cherry puree
4 parts lemonade

 

Method:
Mix and pour over cubed ice. Serve in a pitcher.

Traces of Buffalo

Ingredients:
37.5ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
50ml Cranberry Juice
12.5ml Chambord
12.5ml lemon juice

Method:

Bluegrass Cooler

Ingredients:
1 part Buffalo Trace bourbon
1/4 part Elderflower liqueur/cordial
4 parts fresh apple juice

 

Method:
Mix and pour over cubed ice. Serve in a pitcher. Garnish with apple slice.

Trailblazer

Ingredients:
1 part Buffalo Trace bourbon
1/4 part Chambord
4 parts pineapple juice

Method:
Mix and pour over cubed ice. Serve in a pitcher.

Primo Trace Smash

Ingredients:
50ml Buffalo Trace
3 lemon wedges
25ml Simple
Handful of mint
5ml Maraschino liqueur
2 Raspberries

 

Method:
Shake and strain ingredients over crushed ice. Serve in old-fashioned glass with raspberries as garnish.

Buffalo Symphony

Ingredients:
50ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
2 pineapple wedges infused with port and then caramelized
1 ginger slice
15ml Lemon juice
1 spoon honey cream/liqueur
15ml port

Method:
Muddle pineapple and ginger. Add other ingredients then shake and strain. Serve in martini glass with cinnamon rim.

Buffalo Julep

Ingredients:
50ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
10 mint leaves
10ml Gomme syrup

 

Method:
Add all ingredients and plenty of crushed ice to Julep cup. Stir through vigorously and then top with more crushed ice until cup is frosted. Garnish with fresh mint.

Buffalo Bloom

Ingredients:
50ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
15ml Martini Bianca
5ml Campari
1/2 teaspoon of honey syrup

Method:
Stir and strain all ingredients. Serve in martini glass with mint leaf garnish.

Trace Element

Ingredients:
50ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
10ml Pineapple puree
5ml Passion fruit puree
6 mint leaves
15ml Spiced syrup (combination of Bengal spice and vanilla-infused simple syrup)

 

Method:
Stir with crushed ice and serve in hi-ball glass. Lace rim with Buffalo Trace and garnish with sprig of mint.

Buffalo Blush

Ingredients:
3 fresh Chopped strawberries
1/4 shot Vanilla infused simple syrup
3/4 shot Lime juice
2 shots of Buffalo Trace bourbon
Ginger ale

Method:
Muddle strawberries. Add all other ingredients but ginger beer, shake with ice and strain. Top up with ginger beer in rocks glass.

Eastern Trace

Ingredients:
50ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
3 Lime leaves
Fresh ginger
Dash of gomme syrup

 

Method:
Muddle lime & ginger leaves. Add other ingredients, shake & strain. Serve in rocks glass and garnish with mint.

Buffalo Twist

Ingredients:
50ml Buffalo Trace
1/3 apple
1/4 pear
10ml Pear liqueur
Pinch of fresh ginger

Method:
Slice apple and pear, add ginger and liqueur then muddle. Add remaining ingredients, strain over ice. Serve in 12oz tall glass and 2 slices of pear on cocktail stick.

Bee is for Buffalo

Ingredients:
25ml Buffalo Trace
1 sugar cube-sized cube of natural honeycomb
100ml Champagne

 

Method:
Place honeycomb in champagne flute, soak with Buffalo Trace bourbon and crush. Top with champagne.

Tea-Rex Buffalo

Ingredients:
50 ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
Earl grey tea bag
Bar spoon of Strawberry jam
Chunk of pomegranate
Squeeze of lime
Dash of cranberry
Grand Marnier

Method:
Muddle pomegranate, add other ingredients except Grand Marnier. Take out tea-bag after infusion, shake and strain into martini glass. Pour Grand Marnier slowly on top and garnish with orange peel.

Opal Trace

Ingredients:
50ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
3 Basil leaves
Pinch of black pepper
10ml Lime juice
15ml Vanilla liqueur
15ml Strawberry puree

 

Method:
Muddle basil and pepper. Add other ingredients, shake with ice and strain. Serve in rocks glass and garnish with strawberry and basil.

Trace it back to blue

Ingredients:
50ml Buffalo Trace
8 Blueberries
4 cloves
25ml Apple juice
10ml Vanilla syrup

Method:
Muddle berries and cloves. Add other ingredients and strain. Serve in old-fashioned glass and garnish with cinnamon stick.

Granny Buffalo

Ingredients:
37.5ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
20ml Caramel liqueur
20ml Green apple liqueur
5ml Limejuice
Small scoop of green apple sorbet

 

Method:
Stir with ice and strain over green apple sorbet. Serve in martini glass and garnish with apple crisp.

Red Buffalo

Ingredients:
50ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
10ml of Chartreuse (Green)
5 Fresh cherries
2 dashes Peychaud bitters
Dash Gomme syrup

Method:
Pour Chartreuse into ice-filled glass, top up with water and leave to stand. Muddle cherries in base of cocktail shaker, add rest of ingredients, shake and strain. Serve in old-fashioned glass and garnish with two fresh cherries.

Kentucky Kiss

Ingredients:
25ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
15ml Amaretto
20ml Passion fruit purée
15ml Limejuice
15ml Gomme syrup

 

Method:
Shake all ingredients and double strain. Serve in rocks glass and garnish with passion fruit.

Chase the Trace

Ingredients:
50 ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
Honey Dew Melon
5 segments of tangerine
1/2 bar spoon of honey
Orange Bitters

Method:
Muddle all ingredients shake and strain. Serve on old-fashioned glass.

Kentucky Cream

Ingredients:
37.5ml Buffalo Trace
50ml half ‘n’ half (milk and cream)
25ml Crème de Cacao
12.5ml Patron XO Café

 

Method:
Shake and strain ingredients. Serve in Martini glass and dust rim with chocolate.

Balmy Buffalo Julep

Ingredients:
50ml Buffalo Trace
10 Lemon balm leaves
10ml sugar cane syrup
25ml Apple juice

Method:
Tear lemon balm then add to julep cup with sugar cane syrup and churn through with crushed ice. Add remaining ingredients and churn through with bar spoon. Garnish with sprig of lemon balm.

Kentucky Christmas Julep

Ingredients:
50ml Buffalo Trace bourbon
2 bar spoons maraschino syrup
12.5ml Grand Marnier
10 Mint leaves

 

Method:
Add maraschino syrup and mint to julep cups and gently muddle. Add 25ml Buffalo Trace and Grand Marnier and churn through with crushed ice. Add remaining Buffalo Trace and churn again. Garnish with sprigs of mint and two fresh cherries (soaked in Buffalo Trace if possible).
